Things to always have on hand.
Onions
Carrots
Broccoli
Rice
(Quick cooking grain) Cous Cous
Vinegar
Tamari
Olive oil
Tofu
In a pinch these items can add to, or create, a healthy meal!
Wild-Wild-Wild Rice (2-4 servings)
1 1/2 cups wild rice - cook as per directions or (2 water to 1 rice, bring to a boil, then simmer for about 40 min.)
Pour boiling water over 1/2 cup dried cranberries - 1/2 cup celery ( let them sit for 5 min.)
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
Combine all the ingredients
Toss in a couple of moments of kindness
and there you have it. Enjoy...
