Things to always have on hand.
Onions
Carrots
Broccoli
Rice
(Quick cooking grain) Cous Cous
Vinegar
Tamari
Olive oil
Tofu
In a pinch these items can add to, or create, a healthy meal!
Stuffed Cabbage
Par boil as many head cabbage leaves as needed
Filling:
- Par boil one block of medium tofu. (let it sit a while, some water will drain.)
- Two cups cooked brown rice or as per serving>
- Two tbsp white miso
- Salt, pepper or garlic to taste.
Mix together and fill the cabbage leaves- put a leaf in the palm of your hand, put the filling in the center, fold over the sides and fold over.
Serve with tomato sauce on top-Add saute veggies for a complete meal.
